Roles & Responsibilities

A Redevelopment Project takes shape through the inputs/ decisions and coordination between the Society and Developer.

Society:
- Project Management Consultant
- Legal Advisor
- Other Consultants

Developer:
- Various Departments (Technical, Legal, Finance, Liaisoning, Marketing, Sales etc)
- Consultants (Architect, Structural, MEP, Geotech etc)
- Contractor

Timely inputs and good coordination between the Society and Developer are essential to make the project successful. The Society is represented by its Managing Committee (MC) with the help from its PMC, Legal Advisor and other consultants who advise the Society in their respective professional roles. Guidelines provided by Government under Section 79 (A) of the Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act may prove useful, especially for the initial phases of the project. Timely inputs/ decisions, Transparency, good coordination and documentation are the essential requirements for successful redevelopment.
