| 1 | Notes on Base Carpet Areas (BCA): 1. BCA of Existing Units (Flats, Shops etc) are the existing Carpet Areas on the basis of which the benefits of RD (e.g. Additional Carpet Area, Corpus and Rent) shall be provided to Existing Members. They may be specified as per MOFA or RERA. 2. BCA may be finalized by using any of the following yardsticks as per the decision of Members: a) Calculating from the Old Approved Plans b) Physically Measuring a few Similar Existing Units of each type of Unit and rationalizing for each type to accommodate small variations. 3. BCA may include Balconies and Door jambs as per the decision of Members. 4. BCAs to be used for RD shall be subject to the Approval of Members. |
